I use Notion AI to clean up meeting notes and brain dumps, but I'm not happy about it. The process works: paste the raw text, ask it to organize into headings and action items, and it spits out a decent outline. It's faster than doing it manually.
But the value is questionable at $10/month on top of a paid plan. That's $120/year just for this one task. For a team, this scales badly. You're also training it on your proprietary data. Once your process is embedded in their system, migrating is painful. You're paying them to create your own lock-in. Consider open-source LLMs you can run locally for sensitive or high-volume work. The TCO might surprise you.
