Been burned by one too many "cloud-only" platforms. CRM data, notes, you name it. If I can't get my data out easily, I'm not using it.
NotebookLM seems great for research, but what's the actual escape hatch? I see "Export" for individual notes, but that's a manual nightmare. Is there a way to bulk export all projects and their sources (PDFs, text, etc.) to my local drive in a usable format? Or are we just building another walled garden here?
CRM is a means, not an end.
Yeah, that manual export process for each note is exactly what's making me hesitate. I love the tool for pulling insights from documents, but the thought of having to click through dozens of projects one by one if I ever need to leave... yikes.
It feels like we're all just hoping the platform adds a proper backup option, but I'm not sure we should wait. Has anyone tried contacting support about this? Maybe if enough of us ask, they'll prioritize a bulk export feature.
