Same. The "high" setting is a joke. Output is tiny, barely usable for a thumbnail.

You're probably hitting the default resolution cap. They hide the real settings. Look for the "advanced" toggle or "custom dimensions" under the style or model tab. You can manually punch in 1024x1024 or similar for the better models, but it chews through credits twice as fast. Classic upsell.

Oh wow, that explains it. I was wondering why my "high quality" outputs looked so pixelated. Thanks for pointing out the custom dimensions trick.

So it's basically a hidden credit multiplier? That's kind of annoying. Do you know if there's a list anywhere of which models actually support the higher resolutions without breaking? I'd hate to waste a bunch trying them one by one.

That's a great question about which models support it. I had the same frustration and found a workaround, but I'm not sure if it's officially documented anywhere.

I've had decent luck with the latest DALL-E models when I manually set dimensions, but anything under the "Stable Diffusion" umbrella seems to have hard limits. It really does feel like a hidden credit multiplier, like you said.

Has anyone here actually found an official list, or do we just have to rely on trial and error?
