MeetGeek's single-workspace default is inefficient for cross-functional teams. Sales needs deal tracking, engineering needs sprint summaries. Here's how to split them.

**Sales Workspace Setup**
* **Meeting Purpose:** Sales Discovery, Negotiation Calls, Account Reviews
* **Keyword Highlights:** "pricing," "contract," "next steps," "competitor," "budget"
* **Template:** Use "Deal Review" template. Focus on action items and stakeholder mapping.
* **Integration:** Connect CRM (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot). Tag deals by opportunity ID.

**Engineering Workspace Setup**
* **Meeting Purpose:** Sprint Planning, Technical Design, Bug Triage, Retrospectives
* **Keyword Highlights:** "blocked," "API," "merge," "deploy," "technical debt"
* **Template:** Use "Sprint Review" template. Focus on decisions and blockers.
* **Integration:** Connect project management (e.g., Jira/Linear). Tag issues by ticket ID.

**Key Config Difference:** The AI Summary prompt. Set custom instructions per workspace.

Sales workspace AI instruction:
```
Focus on extracting next steps, ownership, and deal timeline. Flag any mention of competitor or pricing objections. Format output with clear action items and owners.
```

Engineering workspace AI instruction:
```
Focus on technical decisions, agreed-upon solutions, and open questions. Flag action items that are blocked. Format output with decisions and code-related todos.
```

Separate workspaces prevent noise. Sales gets deal-focused summaries, engineering gets technical notes. No more wading through irrelevant meeting digests.

Hey, I'm a marketing lead at a 15-person SaaS startup. We're currently on Zoom native transcripts and manually tagging notes into HubSpot and Linear. I've been looking at MeetGeek for a few weeks, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Your guide is exactly the kind of setup I'd need - sales and eng are completely different beasts in how they use meeting notes.

A few things I'm still unsure about:

**Pricing per workspace**: Does each workspace count as a separate "seat" or is it one license with sub-accounts? I've seen $19/user/mo for the Pro plan, but unclear if splitting workspaces doubles that or if it's included.

**Template customization depth**: The "Deal Review" and "Sprint Review" templates - are they fully editable? For example, can I add custom fields like "contract value" or "sprint velocity" inside the summary, or is it just a fixed layout?

**Integration effort**: You mentioned connecting CRM and project management per workspace. Does that mean I have to set up OAuth per workspace separately, or can I reuse the same HubSpot connection across both? We've got about 50 active deals and 30 open tickets - I'm worried about manual overhead.

**Limitation I'm probing**: Single-workspace default - you say it's inefficient. Have you run into a hard limit on the number of keywords or templates per workspace? I'm curious if the AI summary gets confused when you mix sales and eng terms in one place, or if it's just a sorting issue.

**Export / JSON access**: Can you export the structured data (action items, keywords, timestamps) per workspace via API? We'd want to pipe sales summaries into HubSpot and eng summaries into Linear automatically.

If you could share what tier you're on and how many meetings per week you're processing, that'd help me gauge whether the divide is worth the extra config time.
