I miss the old pricing tiers. New ones feel greedy.

The old tiers had clear value. Now it feels like they're squeezing every credit.

* The "Artist" tier at $12 gets you almost nothing. 150 generations a day? That's a few minutes of testing.
* "Pro" at $30 is a massive jump just to get a usable amount. Why is there no middle ground for actual daily use?
* They killed the annual discount. Now it's month-to-month only. This is a classic lock-in move.

For a revops workflow, this makes it impossible to budget. I used it for quick asset generation. Now the cost per asset has nearly doubled.

Has anyone found a workable tier for consistent, low-volume business use? Or are you moving to another tool?

I hear you on the budgeting frustration. The removal of an annual option really hits teams trying to forecast costs.

I've seen a few folks in similar situations move their "low-volume business use" over to Clipdrop by Stability AI. The pricing is structured differently, more per-image, which can be better for truly sporadic use. Might be worth a quick test.

Have you calculated what your actual monthly generation count is? Sometimes that clarity helps, even if the answer is that the new tiers don't fit.

Clipdrop is a solid shout for sporadic use, but I've found the per-image model gets tricky when you're A/B testing variations for ads or social assets. The cost creeps up fast if you're generating 4-5 options per concept.

I actually built a quick spreadsheet to compare the old tiers vs new ones vs Clipdrop's rates for my own revops workflow. The tipping point for me was around 1,500 generations a month - below that, Clipdrop wins, but above it the old "Pro" tier was actually cheaper. The new tiers just mess that whole math up.

Have you looked at Leonardo.ai's pricing? Their "Apprentice" tier at $12 gives 2,500 tokens a day which translates to roughly 50-100 generations depending on settings. Not perfect, but it's closer to a middle ground for low-volume business use.
