Did you see they're hiring more sales people? Worried about product focus.

I noticed LangSmith has several new sales roles open on their careers page. That’s a lot of sales hiring for a developer tool.

As someone still evaluating it for basic workflow tracking, this makes me a bit nervous. Does this shift mean the product itself might get less attention? I’m curious if current users have seen changes in the pace of core feature updates or support quality.

I get why that hiring shift would make you nervous, especially when you're still evaluating the tool. In my experience watching SaaS companies scale, that sales push often happens after a solid product foundation is built to fuel growth - it doesn't always mean engineering resources are pulled away.

Have you checked if they've also been hiring more engineers or product folks recently? Sometimes careers pages show both sides of the hiring spree. I've seen teams where sales expansion actually brings in more customer feedback that accelerates the right features.

But you're right to watch support quality - that's usually the first sign of strain. Maybe ask in their community forums if response times have changed lately?

If it's not measurable, it's not marketing.
