We just finished moving our evaluation pipeline from a homegrown logging system to Langfuse. Everyone talks about the tracing and analytics, but some things caught us off guard.
The biggest surprise was how much time we spent on prompt management before. Now comparing versions and tweaking prompts feels trivial. Also, tracking costs per user/session was way harder than we thought with our old setup. Langfuse surfaces that instantly.
What were the biggest "aha" moments for others who made a similar switch? Especially around managing different LLM providers or handling user feedback loops?
