I've been testing Krisp for a few weeks, mostly while pair programming and on video calls. The noise cancellation is genuinely impressive—it completely removed my mechanical keyboard sounds.
But for my use case, it's hard to justify the subscription. I'm a solo dev, and my built-in mic plus occasional background noise isn't a huge problem. The $5/month feels steep when I only need it a couple hours a week for meetings.
Has anyone else found a good middle ground? Maybe a cheaper alternative, or a use case where the cost makes more sense? I'm curious about real developer setups where it becomes essential.
