You're absolutely right about that wall. I hit the same thing using it for feedback analysis. The scroll to find a specific past convo kills momentum.

My workaround is a dedicated project log in a Google Doc. At the end of a session, I force myself to add a bullet with a key quote or decision, and a link to that specific chat. It's manual, but the link at least creates a breadcrumb trail back. It keeps the context from being totally lost.

It's not a real solution though. It just turns the lack of search into a manual linking chore.
