Hi everyone, I've been exploring Iris.ai for a few weeks now, mostly for a literature review in a biomedical engineering area. I'm still trying to get a feel for the platform's strengths and limitations.
One thing I've noticed is that the data sources seem a bit... uneven? I get a ton of results from PubMed and other biomedical/life sciences databases, which is fantastic for that side of my project. But when I try to branch into the more engineering-focused or hardware-related aspects, the results feel a lot thinner. I see some IEEE content, but not nearly as comprehensive as I'd hoped.
I'm curious if others have had this experience. Is Iris.ai really geared more towards the life sciences? For those of you using it in more interdisciplinary or technical fields, how do you find the coverage? Do you find yourself needing to supplement with other tools for certain types of papers or patents?
Also, does the tool's weighting or filtering somehow prioritize certain sources? I want to make sure I'm not missing something in my setup before I commit to using it for a bigger project. Any insights would be really helpful
