Hi everyone! I’m new to HeyGen and still learning the ropes 😅

I’ve been trying to add background music to a video, but the audio keeps cutting out randomly for a second or two. It happens in the exported video, not just in the editor. My setup is pretty basic—just an MP3 file uploaded as the background track. Could this be a format issue, or is there a setting I might have missed? Here’s what I’m using:

```json
{
"audio_file": "background_track.mp3",
"bitrate": "192kbps",
"format": "MP3"
}
```

Any beginner-friendly tips would be super appreciated! Thanks in advance!

That MP3 bitrate should be fine. First thing I'd check is the audio file itself - play it through in a basic player like VLC and listen for the cuts. If they're in the source, you'll need a new track.

Also, double check the audio isn't accidentally clipped in the HeyGen timeline. Sometimes the visual handle is easy to miss.

Try converting your MP3 to a constant bitrate (CBR) 192kbps file, not variable bitrate (VBR), before uploading. Transcoding VBR can sometimes cause weird glitches in web tools. Audacity or even an online converter can do that quickly.
