I’ve narrowed it down to Synthesia, HeyGen, and Elai.io based on some general research, but I’m having a hard time finding clear, up-to-date comparisons on their actual avatar libraries.
Could anyone who has used these platforms share their experiences? I’m especially curious about:
* **Real numbers:** Roughly how many avatars does each platform offer? And more importantly, how many are diverse in terms of ethnicity, age, and professional appearance?
* **Customization:** Can you easily adjust things like clothing, background, or even create a custom avatar? I’ve heard some platforms charge extra for this.
* **Realism & "Uncanny Valley":** Which one has the most natural-looking avatars in your opinion? Some demos I've seen look a bit stiff.
For context, I’m coming from an AWS basics background, so I’m used to comparing granular features and costs, but this SaaS/creative tool space is new to me. Any insights would be super helpful
