Hi everyone! I made the switch from Otter.ai to Granola about three months ago for meeting transcriptions, mostly for my team's retrospectives and some customer calls. I was on Otter's basic plan before.
The accuracy jump was honestly surprising. With Otter, I'd spend a lot of time fixing tech acronyms and commands. Granola seems way better at handling our DevOps jargon—things like "kubectl," "Helm chart," or "Terraform state" come through correctly almost every time. It also handles different accents on my team much better.
My one gripe is the mobile app feels a bit slower to start recording compared to Otter's. But for the core job of accurate transcription, especially with our niche vocabulary, it's been a solid win. Happy to answer any questions if you're thinking of switching!
