Hi everyone! I’m new to the finance side of things, but my team is looking at Granola to help streamline our month-end close and some recurring reporting. We're currently drowning in spreadsheets and manual data pulls from our CRM (Salesforce) and ERP.
I’ve seen the demos and it looks powerful, but I’m trying to understand if the time savings are real in practice. Specifically:
* How long did it take your finance team to feel comfortable building their own reports or dashboards?
* Are the pre-built connectors for systems like NetSuite really robust enough to avoid constant IT help?
* What’s the biggest hidden time sink you didn’t anticipate when you started?
I’m worried we’ll invest in this and then spend more time managing the tool than we save. Any stories from teams who’ve been through it would be so helpful!
