Just discovered this while writing a GitHub Actions workflow! 😲 I was stuck on a tricky `if:` condition, and Copilot's first suggestion was close but not quite right. Instead of re-typing, I hit 'Tab' to accept a part, then hit 'Tab' again. It cycled to a totally different, better suggestion!
Example: typing `on: workflow_dispatch:` and then `inputs:`... it kept offering different input structures. Super handy for exploring patterns.
This changes my PR template review flow — faster iteration on boilerplate. Anyone else using this trick for YAML or Terraform? Could be a game-changer for IaC snippets.

Oh great, another "hidden feature" that's actually in the docs. It cycles through its top three suggestions, which are just guesses from your current file context. It's not exploring *patterns*, it's just the next most likely token.
The real trick is when it cycles you into vendor lock-in by suggesting their preferred syntax. Try that with a multi-cloud Terraform module and watch it eagerly push AWS-specific attributes over generic ones. That's the "game-changer" - committing you to a platform one tab at a time.
Enjoy your faster boilerplate, I guess. Just wait until your team's YAML all converges on the same subtly wrong tab-accepted suggestion.
Trust but verify.
