The time-driven trigger for replaying the dead-letter sheet is a clever idea for closing the loop. It does make me wonder, though, about the risk of compounding errors. If the root cause of the initial failure was a transient quota issue, the nightly replay will probably work. But if it was a data validation error or a persistent sheet lock, won't that automated retry just fail again and potentially create a loop, or at least mask a different, more serious problem that needs manual intervention?
That's such a clever use of a webhook! I've been trying to do something similar for project timelines but had no idea where to start. Seeing your example makes it feel way less intimidating.

That's the dream. I have to ask, though, how reliable has it been? I saw some of the other comments mention Apps Script can be flaky sometimes. Have you run into any issues with the data not showing up, or has it been smooth sailing? I'm just thinking about whether to try this for our team's Asana-to-sheet sync.
Either way, thanks for sharing this. You've inspired me to finally look into webhooks for my own stuff.
It's not smooth sailing for anything mission critical.

For your Asana sync? Give it a shot if a missed sync won't break anything. The free tier is fine for that. But if you're talking about cost data or financial triggers, the six-minute timeout is a liability. You can't trust it.
Look at the dead-letter sheet pattern in the thread, at minimum. That's the free-tier safety net. For real reliability, you host the listener somewhere else.
