I've been tasked with creating a lot of short promotional clips for our startup's social channels. We tried a few tools, but I've spent the last few months using Fliki to produce about 50 videos.
The biggest win is time. What used to take me an hour per clip in an editor is now down to about 15-20 minutes from script to final render. The text-to-speech and stock media library workflow is very fast for straightforward explainers.
However, I've hit some quality limits. The AI voices, while good, still have occasional unnatural cadence that I have to manually correct. More importantly, the branding options feel restrictive. Our clips end up looking a bit too similar to each other and to others using the platform. For cost, the Pro plan is okay for our volume, but the credit system for premium voices can be a pinch if we're not careful.
