That bit about PMs and ops folks hits home. It's a strange double standard we've accepted - "you need to be an engineer to configure a no-code tool."

If their API status page is essential for reliability, that's a sign the product's abstraction is leaking. Good documentation doesn't just handhold you through steps; it should explain the boundaries of the abstraction so you know when you're approaching them. When docs are thin, only the people who already understand the underlying systems can navigate around the leaks.
