Just tried merging a Zoom recording (stereo) with a separate mic track (mono). Descript's sync drifted by almost half a second after the first edit. The "align" feature treats it like a suggestion, not a fix.
Checked the usual suspects: sample rates match, no weird compression. Works fine in other editors. Starting to think their "seamless" multi-track editing is just for marketing demos. Anyone replicated this, or is my project cursed?
