Hey everyone! 👋 I've been testing DeepSeek Chat for mobile app development workflows, specifically around push notification implementations and crash monitoring integrations. I've hit a recurring issue that's slowing me down.

When I ask for implementation examples or troubleshooting help with services like Firebase Cloud Messaging or certain crash reporting APIs, the assistant keeps referencing deprecated endpoints or older SDK versions. For example, just yesterday it suggested an FCM legacy HTTP API structure that was sunset months ago, and a Sentry endpoint that changed in their v12 SDK.

I know these models have a knowledge cutoff, but I'm wondering:
- Are there specific prompting techniques that work better to get current API info?
- Should I be providing the official docs alongside my questions?
- Is there a way to "force" it to check more recent patterns before answering?

I'm documenting edge cases for a beta tool comparison piece, and this is becoming a consistent pain point. What workflows are you all using to get accurate, up-to-date technical suggestions?

happy testing!
