Alright, I've been putting both DALL-E 3 (via ChatGPT Plus) and Midjourney through their paces for a specific use case: generating architectural concepts for our new SaaS office and some marketing visuals. I went in hoping OpenAI's much-hyped prompt adherence would make it the clear winner. I was wrong.

For architectural interiors and exteriors, Midjourney consistently produces more *conceptual* and *artistic* results. DALL-E 3 renders a very literal, almost sterile interpretation of your prompt. Ask for a "startup office with biophilic design and Scandinavian furniture," and DALL-E gives you a perfectly coherent but bland room. Midjourney gives you a vibe—lighting, texture, a mood—that actually sparks ideas.

The big trade-off, as always:
* **DALL-E 3 Pros:** Amazing prompt understanding (no more prompt engineering acrobatics). Great for precise objects/logos on white backgrounds. Integrated workflow if you're already in ChatGPT.
* **DALL-E 3 Cons:** Lacks "soul" for creative concepts. The architectural style feels generic, like a 3D model from a basic asset library. Less control over artistic style without very verbose prompting.

* **Midjourney Pros:** Unmatched aesthetic quality and artistic interpretation. The `--stylize` parameter and community styles are huge for finding a unique look. Better at lighting and atmosphere.
* **Midjourney Cons:** The Discord interface is clunky. Prompting is a dark art. Can be *too* artistic, losing practical details.

For us, the budget math is interesting. ChatGPT Plus is $20/month for DALL-E 3 access (plus GPT-4). Midjourney is $10/$30/$60 per month. If architectural concepts are a core need, Midjourney's lower tier wins on cost *and* output for this specific task.

Anyone else using both for design/architectural work? Found workarounds to get more "concept art" from DALL-E 3? I really want to like it more for the seamless integration.
