Switched from paid Copilot to Cursor. Saved money, gained headaches. Might switch back.

I finally made the switch from paid GitHub Copilot to Cursor last month, hoping to save some cash. The price difference is real, and I was excited about the promised features.

But the workflow just doesn't click for me. I spend more time fighting the agent or clarifying context than I ever did with Copilot's straightforward completions. Simple tasks, like generating a pandas transformation I used to get instantly, now turn into a back-and-forth chat. I miss the "just works" feeling.

Has anyone else gone through this? Did you find a setup that makes Cursor's agent feel less intrusive for day-to-day Python/SQL work, or did you switch back too? The savings are nice, but my productivity took a hit.
