Ran a test. Pit Copy.ai's long-form writer against a senior human editor on five identical briefs.

Goal: Measure output quality vs. human editor time saved.

**Method:**
* Briefs: 5 technical blog outlines (500 words target).
* Process:
1. Generate first draft with Copy.ai.
2. Have human editor polish to publishable standard.
3. Record editor time spent fixing.
* Metric: Editor minutes saved vs. baseline (writing from scratch).

**Findings:**

| Brief # | Copy.ai Raw Quality (1-5) | Editor Time to Fix (mins) | Time Saved vs. Baseline |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| 1 | 2 | 45 | 15 |
| 2 | 3 | 30 | 30 |
| 3 | 1 | 60 | 0 |
| 4 | 3 | 25 | 35 |
| 5 | 2 | 50 | 10 |

**Takeaway:**
It's not an "AI vs human" question. It's a tool for rough drafts.
* On average, saved ~18 minutes per piece.
* Quality is inconsistent. Brief #3 was useless—editor spent same time as writing fresh.
* Best for overcoming blank page syndrome. Worst for nuanced, technical depth.

Your experience? Do these numbers track, or am I being too generous?
