Hi everyone, I’ve been exploring Consensus for a few weeks now, mostly thinking about how to integrate its summary outputs into our marketing automation and content workflows. It seems like a great tool for research.
Before I can seriously propose it to our security and compliance team, I need to understand more about its data handling. Specifically, I’m curious if anyone has done or requested a formal security audit of their data storage?
In my last role with HubSpot, we had to vet any new SaaS tool for SOC 2 compliance, data encryption standards, and where/how user query data is stored and purged. I haven't been able to find much detailed documentation on Consensus's site about this beyond general statements.
Has anyone gone through a vendor security review with them? I'm particularly interested in:
- Data retention policies for the text/content we input.
- Whether data is used for model training and if there are opt-outs.
- The physical and logical security of their storage infrastructure.
Any insights or even pointers to where this info might be buried would be really helpful. I want to be enthusiastic about rolling this out, but I know these questions will be the first hurdle.
