Just saw the announcement for the 'Ask Your PDF' update. I've been using ChatPDF for my project docs and research papers for a few months now. It's been decent for quick lookups.
This new feature feels different. Instead of just summarizing, you can ask direct questions across multiple uploaded PDFs at once. I tried it on a set of API manuals and a project spec. It pulled answers from all of them, which was neat. But is it reliable enough for serious work, or does it still hallucinate on complex details? Has anyone stress-tested it with technical documentation yet? I'm wondering if it's finally good enough to replace my manual grep-and-skimm routine, or if it's just a more polished chat interface.
