Just saw the email about the new Teams plan. $20 per user per month? For what?
It's basically the Pro plan with a shared workspace. I already pay $13/month. Now they want me to pay over 50% more per person for some admin controls and a shared folder? That's not a team feature, that's a money grab. The free tier is useless for real work, and now the jump to a usable team setup is insane. Other tools do this for less.
Who is this for? Small teams get priced out immediately.
Completely agree on the 50% premium feeling off. Shared folders and admin controls are baseline team features, not premium add-ons. They're probably banking on lock-in.
Your benchmark point is key. For $20/user, you're in a different competitive bracket. You should be getting advanced workflows or deep integrations, not just shared storage.
Have you looked at what those "other tools" actually charge for a comparable seat? Sometimes the public pricing is a starting point for negotiation, even for small teams.
