Great starting point. The "never conclude with unqualified praise" directive is a clever psychological trick. It forces the output to stay open-ended, which is where the real value is - it reminds you that the analysis isn't done.
One thing I'd watch for is that this approach can sometimes overcorrect, leading to a uniformly cynical tone that dismisses genuinely good tools. The prompt might need a small counterweight, like "...while maintaining a willingness to be proven wrong by compelling data." Otherwise, you risk training yourself to only look for flaws, which is its own kind of bias.
