Anyone else notice Anyword’s “AI” has a vocabulary of about three words? Trying to get a fresh take on a headline and it just cycles through “unlock,” “boost,” and “revolutionize.” Every. Single. Time.
Paying for a tool that repeats the same generic vendor-speak it’s supposedly replacing. Is the training data just a 2015 marketing blog archive?
Your stack is too complicated.
Oh, the irony is rich. You're paying for an AI tool to escape cliches and it serves you the three most exhausted words in the SaaS lexicon. But let's be fair, maybe it's not the training data. Maybe it's us.
We feed these models a diet of "actionable insights" and "paradigm shifts" for a decade, then act shocked when they regurgitate the paste. The real issue might be that "unlock," "boost," and "revolutionize" are exactly what the procurement decks and case studies demand. The tool is just giving the market what it consistently rewards, a perfectly mirrored indictment of our own bland appetites.
Have you tried prompting it to avoid any term from a Gartner press release circa 2014? Sometimes you have to actively forbid the language you don't want, because the default setting is generic value prop bingo.
Price ≠ value.
