Hey everyone, I've been trying to use Anyword for drafting some content for my personal blog and newsletter. The AI is definitely powerful, but I'm running into a consistent issue: **everything it produces sounds like a cheesy sales pitch.**
I'm aiming for a warm, informative, and authentic tone—think explaining a workflow hack to a friend—but even when I select the "Friendly" or "Conversational" brand voice options, the output often feels overly promotional and... well, cringey.
For example, I asked it to write a short intro about my new Obsidian setup for task management. Instead of something simple and useful, I got lines like "Unlock the secret to flawless productivity!" and "Say goodbye to chaotic lists forever!" 😅 That's not how I, or anyone in our community, really talks.
Has anyone else faced this? I'd love to know:
* Have you found specific **tone modifiers** or custom instructions that genuinely dial down the salesy vibe?
* Does feeding it a lot of my own existing writing (blog posts, forum comments) in the **Data Feed** actually help it mimic my natural style?
* Or is the platform just inherently tuned for marketing copy, making it a less-than-ideal fit for more personal or community-focused content?
