Hey everyone. I ran AgentGPT for a few months on a personal project, but kept hitting snags. The main issue was stability – tasks would hang or get stuck in loops, which meant I was babysitting it more than I wanted. The OpenAI API costs also started to creep up with those retries and loops.

I switched to CrewAI about six months ago. The biggest difference is the structure. Defining clear roles (like a "Researcher" agent and a "Writer" agent) and a sequential process made it much more predictable. My runs complete reliably now, and my monthly API bill dropped by about 40% because there's less wasted compute. It feels more like engineering a pipeline, which fits how I think. Has anyone else made a similar switch and noticed better stability?
