Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to using AI image generators, and I've been trying out Adobe Firefly for some marketing project mock-ups. I love how easy it is to start with, but I'm running into a specific problem and I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I'm trying to generate images that are very clearly in the public domain or use specific creative commons assets I have permission for. I've been putting really detailed instructions in my prompts, like "generate an image using only public domain elements, no copyrighted characters or logos" or even "create a scene inspired by 19th-century botanical drawings which are out of copyright."
But the tool keeps giving me a content warning or just seems to ignore that part of the request entirely. Sometimes it generates something that looks suspiciously like a modern cartoon style or a famous brand's aesthetic. I'm trying to be careful because it's for a client project.
Is there a specific way to phrase these copyright instructions so Firefly understands? Or is it just not capable of following that kind of legal directive yet? I really want to use it ethically, especially for work stuff. Any advice from more experienced users would be so appreciated!
