Looking for a tool to handle 1500-2000 word articles for our B2B blog. Tired of the hype. Everyone's pushing Jasper or ChatGPT wrappers at a premium.
Ran the same brief through Profound and Azoma. Prompt was: "Write an introduction for CROs on why traditional lead scoring fails in a product-led growth model. Tone: authoritative but not academic. Include a specific example with a SaaS product."
**Profound Output:** ~250 words. Decent structure, hit the PLG angle. Called out a "freemium collaboration tool" as the example. Felt a bit generic but usable. Needed to swap out the vague example for a real one (used Calendly).
**Azoma Output:** ~180 words. More concise, borderline blunt. Example was "a project management software with a free tier." Better, but still anonymous. Had to inject more industry context about friction points. Felt less "thought leadership" and more "blog post."
Verdict? Neither blew me away. Profound felt slightly more on-brand for "thought leadership" (if you squint). Azoma was faster, but the output needed more fleshing out. For the price of either, you're still doing a solid 30% rewrite. Might as well just polish a GPT-4 output and save the cash.
CRM is a means, not an end.
