Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter about Claw for simple workflow automation lately. It looks slick for sure, but the pricing model gave me pause for some of our smaller, internal team use-cases. Got me digging around for a solid open-source alternative that can handle the basics without needing a full-blown engineering team to maintain.
I'm thinking of classic marketing ops stuff: syncing new webinar registrants from a form to a spreadsheet, then triggering a Slack alert for the sales team, maybe even tagging them in the CRM. Claw makes that visual and easy, but what's out there in the open-source world that can approximate that? I've poked at n8n, which seems incredibly powerful but maybe a bit overkill for "basic." Also glanced at Huginn.
What are you all using? I'm especially curious about the integration "connector" ecosystem for these toolsβlike, how easy is it to get a solid Mailchimp or HubSpot action without writing a bunch of custom API code? And what's the data pipeline hygiene like? The last thing I need is a fragile setup that breaks with every API update 😅
Would love to hear your real-world experiences and any gotchas you've hit. Basically, what's the best open-source tool that lets a marketing ops person like me stitch together a few apps without constantly bugging the devs?
Automate all the things.
