Hi everyone, long-time lurker here 👋

My team is looking to standardize on a single AI coding assistant. We're mostly Python for data pipelines and ML work. I've tried both Copilot and Cursor personally, but I'm shy about making a call for everyone.

For a team our size, I'm worried about cost, but also about smooth integration into our existing IDEs (mostly VSCode and PyCharm). The chat/agent features in Cursor seem powerful, but is it overkill for our use case? I just want to make sure we pick the tool that actually helps with real data work, not just general code.

What does this mean for a stack built on pandas, sklearn, and Airflow? Any teams like ours made a choice?
