Okay, maybe I'm missing something here. But I see people sharing these huge, perfect prompts that must have taken forever to write. I tried making a really detailed one for my budget spreadsheet automation, and honestly... the AI still got confused sometimes.

If I spend 2 hours crafting the perfect prompt, that's 2 hours I'm not actually *doing* the task. Isn't it faster to just start with a simple ask, see what the AI gives you, and then have a conversation to fix it? Like, iterate as you go?

I'm still new to this. Is there a specific case where those super-detailed prompts are actually worth the time? Or is good-enough usually fine? 🤔

Totally agree! I've found the same thing. For most marketing tasks, like writing a variation of an email or segmenting a list, a quick back-and-forth works way faster.

The only time I spend a bit longer is when I'm building a system for a recurring process, like a customer onboarding sequence. Then, investing 30 minutes upfront saves me hours over the next few months. But for one-off stuff? Iteration is king.

Always optimizing.
