Hi everyone. We switched to UKG Ready from a basic payroll provider about six months ago, hoping to streamline everything. I wanted to share a few things we’ve learned so far.
The good part is the reporting is really powerful. Getting a single view of customer data (I mean, employee data, sorry—old CRM habits!) across payroll, scheduling, and HR is great. The sales automation for workflows has saved us so much time.
But, the learning curve was steeper than we expected. Some of the setup for UK-specific compliance, like auto-enrolment, wasn't as intuitive. We also had one payroll run that got stuck, and while support did fix it, the initial response felt a bit slow. Has anyone else found certain modules trickier than others, or have tips for smoothing out the first year?
