I've been using Sysdig for container and cloud security monitoring across our stack for a good while now. Like many of you, I logged in recently to find the new consolidated dashboard layout. I've given it a solid few weeks to see if it grows on me, but I have to say... I'm finding myself missing the old UI more each day.
The new view is certainly cleaner from a design perspective, but I feel like I've lost some immediate at-a-glance efficiency. For example, navigating between distinct sections for runtime alerts, image scanning, and compliance felt more direct before. Now, it seems like I'm doing more clicking and drilling to get the same actionable intel. The customizability is a plus, but the default setup isn't quite clicking for my daily workflow.
I'm curious if others in the community are having a similar experience, or if I'm just stuck in my ways. Specifically:
* Have you adapted your workflow to the new layout, and if so, any tips?
* Are there specific data points or views you find are now harder to access quickly?
* Am I overlooking a setting or view that better replicates the old separation of concerns?
I want to be fair—UI updates are tough, and they're often made with good reasons based on broader user feedback. But in a tool where speed and clarity are critical for ops and security teams, these changes really matter. Let's keep the discussion focused on concrete usability comparisons, not just general praise or complaints.
