We're a small healthcare practice with about 75 users. We need to replace an old firewall and are looking at the SonicWall TZ series and Cisco ASA 5500-X series.

My main concerns are compliance (HIPAA), ease of management since we don't have a dedicated network person, and total cost. I've seen both names a lot, but the pricing seems very different.

Could anyone share real-world experience with either in a similar setting? I'm especially curious about:
- Ongoing management overhead
- Hidden costs for necessary security subscriptions
- Which one has a clearer path for meeting healthcare security requirements

We handle some patient data, so secure VPN and good logging are important, but the setup can't be overly complex.
