Hey everyone! 👋 I've been following Mandiant Threat Intel for a while now, as part of my team's push to get better at security stuff (we're a remote PM team using Asana and Slack, so this is a bit new for us).
I saw the announcement about their new deep partnership with a major cloud vendor. On one hand, it sounds great for tighter integrations and maybe simpler setup. But it got me thinking—has anyone here started using their services through this specific cloud platform?
My big worry is lock-in. We're a small team, and if we go all-in on this cloud ecosystem for our threat intel, does it become a huge hassle to switch or use data elsewhere later? Are we basically buying into that vendor's entire world? I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this new partnered offering, or just thoughts on vendor lock-in with security tools in general.
