We're evaluating Cybereason and I'm curious about deployment in this setup. Is the agent lightweight enough for varied home networks? How's the management console for a distributed team with no on-site servers?

Good questions. I've rolled out Cybereason in a similar setup. The agent is pretty lightweight on the laptops themselves, but you should test it across different home router setups first. Some residential gear with very strict firewalls can cause initial handshake headaches.
For a small team, the cloud management console is a lifesaver. No on-site servers is actually a benefit here. The main gotcha is the initial agent deployment. Make sure your software deployment tool is rock solid, because chasing 500 remote users for manual installs is a nightmare. Clear, simple instructions for your users are a must.
Get a pilot group of 20-30 different users to try it first. You'll catch those weird network issues and can adjust your rollout plan. Good luck!
