Hey folks, hitting a weird snag this week with AttributionIQ and Shopify.
We're seeing a lot of orders being counted twice in the platform. It's inflating our ROAS numbers and making everything look way better than it actually is. Our setup is pretty standard: direct Shopify integration, no custom scripts (that we know of). The duplication seems random—some orders are fine, others double-count.
Has anyone else run into this? I'm checking:
- If it's specific to certain marketing channels (we see it across a few)
- If it's tied to order edits/refunds in Shopify
- Our attribution window settings
Any pointers would be super helpful before I dive into a support ticket.
Let's build better workflows.
Yeah, we saw this last month. Drove me nuts.
For us, it was tied to order edits in Shopify. If someone updated the shipping address after the order imported, it sometimes triggered a second "order created" webhook. AttributionIQ processed it as a new order.
Maybe check your Shopify webhook logs for duplicate events on the same order ID?
