Tried the new model registry feature. It's not a registry. It's just tags on artifacts.
You're still manually tracking lineage, versions, and stages. All they did was add a UI filter for a "model" tag. For the price, I expected:
* Actual version locking
* Deployment staging gates
* Native environment promotion workflows
Instead, it's the same artifact system with a new label. You can do this yourself with the API in an afternoon. Don't pay for the feature if this is all it is.
