I've been testing Traceloop for a few weeks to monitor our RAG pipelines. The dashboard is visually impressive and easy to navigate, which is a big plus for getting team buy-in.

However, I keep hitting walls when trying to write custom queries. The syntax feels inconsistent. For example, filtering spans by a specific tag shouldn't require three different operators depending on the attribute type. It makes building custom alerts or views more time-consuming than it should be.

Has anyone else found workarounds for this? Is there a trick to the query builder I'm missing, or is this a known pain point?
