Everyone's talking about AI agents saving 20 hours a week. Sounds like marketing fluff. I built a simple Lindy agent that actually works. It saves our three-person ops team about 8 hours on the nose. No hype, just a repetitive task automated.
We get dozens of support ticket notifications in Slack daily. An agent watches a specific channel, categorizes the ticket based on keywords, checks if it's a known issue by searching our internal wiki Confluence, and then posts a summary in our ops triage channel with links. It also pings the on-call engineer for high-priority tags. The logic is straightforward, but it stops the constant context switching. We spent more time negotiating the Lindy contract than building the agent. Their per-user pricing is a trap if you're only using it for a team-specific workflow.
