Hey everyone, I've been deep in the FinOps side of my cloud work lately, and I keep seeing Lindy pop up for developer productivity tasks. I know it's famous for meeting notes and summaries, but I just spotted they have a specific "Contract Review" agent.
Has anyone here actually tried Lindy for reviewing cloud vendor contracts or SaaS agreements? I'm specifically thinking about those long AWS Enterprise Discount Program (EDP) amendments or third-party monitoring tool contracts (looking at you, Datadog). The pricing models and commitment terms can get... intricate.
I'm curious about a few things:
* How does it handle the legalese vs. the commercial terms? Can it reliably flag things like auto-renewal clauses, steep termination fees, or usage commitment traps?
* Does it just summarize, or can you ask it specific questions like "What's the effective discount rate if I commit to $X over 3 years?"
* Most importantly, does it "understand" cloud-specific concepts? For example, would it catch if a contract defines "usage" in a way that could lead to bill shock?
I've been burned before by tools that give a nice summary but miss the critical, costly details buried in a schedule. My current process is a manual highlight-and-spreadsheet slog. If Lindy can accurately extract key figures and obligations into a structured format, that would be a huge win.
If you've used it, what was your workflow? Did you just feed it a PDF and start asking questions? Any gotchas or prompts that worked really well?
