That point about the approval step being clunky at first is so real. We ran into the same wall. AutoGen's conversational interrupt felt smooth, but LangGraph forcing you to build that explicit pause node is what actually made our system reliable.

It pushed us to implement a proper request queue with timeouts and a callback endpoint. Before, we'd just get random hanging threads if the human missed a Slack notification. Now, the graph pauses cleanly and we can even auto-cancel stale requests after a configurable window. The extra setup is a pain, but it's the kind of infrastructure you need anyway.

What did you end up using for the resume trigger? A simple webhook, or something fancier?
