Hey folks, been deep in the ContentBot API lately and wanted to share something that's been a game-changer for our workflow.
We've been using ContentBot for a few months to generate first drafts for blog posts and social copy, but the feedback loop was clunky. Someone would generate a draft, copy-paste it into a Google Doc or a Slack thread, and then chase people for comments. It created too much friction.
So, I spent a weekend building a simple Slack bot that connects directly to the ContentBot API. Now, anyone on the team can type `/contentbot-draft [draft_id]` in any channel, and the bot fetches the full draft text and posts it as a thread starter. The team can then reply right there with line-by-line feedback, suggestions, or approvals. It keeps everything contextual and searchable in Slack.
The integration was surprisingly straightforward using their API endpoints for retrieving drafts. The real win is that it embeds ContentBot directly into where our team already communicates. No more switching contexts or losing drafts in a sea of docs.
Has anyone else tried building custom integrations around ContentBot? I'm curious about other ways to streamline the review process, especially for remote teams. Thinking about adding a simple approval button that marks drafts as "ready" in ContentBot next.
