Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to the community but I've been managing the onboarding for our SaaS platform's content team for about six months. We've been using ChatGPT for a lot of our content workflows, specifically for generating SEO meta descriptions at scale.
Recently, I convinced my manager to let me test Claude for this specific task, and the difference has been pretty surprising. With ChatGPT, we kept running into a few issues: the descriptions often felt too generic, they'd sometimes awkwardly force the keyword in, and we had to provide extremely detailed prompts to get close to what we wanted. It felt like we were doing more editing than generating.
With Claude, I've found the outputs are more natural sounding right away and actually read like something a human would write. I'm still figuring out the best way to structure our prompts, though. For those of you who have made a similar switch for content tasks, how did you adjust your prompting strategy? Did you have to rebuild your templates from scratch?
Also, I'm curious about change management on this small scale. Our writers are used to the old ChatGPT output style. Has anyone dealt with retraining a team on a new AI tool for a single, repetitive task like this? I want to make the transition smooth without disrupting our output volume. Any step-by-step advice would be amazing! 😅
